First Foreword¶

This work is the combined effort of many members of the 1992 District committee. We did our best, but it may not be flawless. It should be noted that most of the facts entered here are motions that passed, or are January 1983 to August 1992. It is the hope of everyone involved with this project that this booklet will consensuses that are actions. Failed motions were omitted. The period of recapitulation of minutes is from give future committees a sense of what the policies have been. Not knowing that has been a problem in the past.

Second Foreword¶

This is the second edition of the District Action Booklet. It covers the periods from August 1992 to February 1995. The committee was formed to put this together by a district action. It was thought that it would be easier to update the booklet approximately every two years. The committee left the original booklet contents untouched. The committee did it's best to update the booklet contents, but it may not be flawless. Most failed motions were omitted, but a few were included to show the districts Groups feelings on certain issues. The committee decided to change from the original small booklet form to this larger booklet from to help ease the cost of printing.

Third Foreword¶

This is the third edition of the District 8 Action booklet. It covers the periods from February 1995 to January 2001.

Fourth Foreword¶

This is the fourth edition of the District 8 action booklet. It covers the periods from January 2002 to December 2003.

Fifth Foreword¶

This is the fifth edition of the District 8 Action Booklet. It covers the periods from January 2004 to December 2005.

Sixth Foreword¶

This is the sixth edition of the District 8 Action Booklet. It covers the periods from January 2006 to December 2007.

Seventh Foreword¶

This is the seventh edition of the District 8 Action Booklet. It includes new actions from January 2008 to December 2013.

Eighth Foreword¶

This is the eighth edition of the District 8 Action Booklet. It includes actions from January 2014 to December 2015. The District Action Booklet committee made a change to the format of the booklet. The Corrections and Treatment section was divided into two separate sections, as they now represent separate committee chairs within the District. All Treatment actions are now found in the Treatment section and all Corrections actions are found in the Corrections section.

Ninth Foreword¶

This is the ninth edition of the District 8 Action Booklet. It includes new actions from January 2016 to December 2017.

Tenth Foreword¶

This is the tenth edition of the District 8 Action Booklet. It includes new actions from January 2018 to December 2023. The period 2019-2021 is mostly unrecorded due to the Covid-19 pandemic when district meetings were virtual and there was no secretary.

Eleventh Foreword¶

This Eleventh edition of the District 8 Action Booklet includes the recorded actions of the District from January 2024 through December 2025. It has been reviewed and updated by the 2026- 2027 District Secretary and Treasurer. In this edition, one new category has been added: Website, along with a corresponding Trusted Servant Guideline for the Position of Web Manager. These additions reflect our ongoing efforts to adapt to current needs while remaining grounded in our primary purpose. As with previous editions, this booklet serves as a record of the District’s group conscience in action, and as a resource for trusted servants as they carry out their responsibilities.
