District Meeting Schedule

February 1983

Decided to update meeting schedules and get contributions from the groups to do this.

June 1983

Meeting schedules are available at $1.50 per 100.

November 1983

Beginner’s meeting list of contacts made up. Beginner’s meeting now autonomous. Meeting list to be given to treatment centers and detox.

June 1984

Group meeting schedules are available to groups at a cost of $1.75 per 100.

June 1985

$10.00 was the cost for 2800 meeting schedules.

May 1986

3000 copies of meeting schedules ordered of Eveleth Votech.

July 1986

EAVTI refused to take any money for printing the meeting schedules.

July 1986

Motion carried for PI/CPC to handle the meeting schedules.

March 1987

Motion carried to keep Detox and 12 Step House meetings off the meeting schedules.

Motion carried to compile up-to-date listing of groups for meeting schedules.

Motion carried to carry beginner’s meeting on schedules.

It was decided to update meeting schedules and check on cost of printing 5000.

New meeting schedules will be the same format, but updated.

Group meeting schedules will not include any meetings not registered with GSO as a group. 3000 schedules will be printed at a cost of $15.00 per thousand.

The function of the District secretary sending post card reminders of the district meeting time and place each month was re-established.

District declined an offer for private funding from a group to reprint the meeting schedules.

Motion carried to revise the meeting schedules with emphasis on legibility.

Motion carried to have new schedules printed at the Eveleth Votech. The schedules will include the Serenity Prayer; I am responsible statement and the 12 Steps. The District will pay for the cost up to $20.00.

Motion carried to pay the Eveleth Votech $20.00 for 6000 meeting schedules.

Motion carried to correct meeting schedules and have new ones printed at the Eveleth Votech.

Motion to donate $20.00 to the Graphic Arts Communications Club to pay for meeting schedules.

Motion to leave all phone numbers’ off of meeting schedules.

Motion passed to list only groups listed with GSO in meeting schedules.

Motion passed to include Beginner’s meeting on meeting schedules. Reason being that this is now a district function.

Motion made and approved to approve the addition of Nett Lake meeting to the schedules.

Motion made and approved for order schedules from Cook News Herald who quoted us a price of $120.00 for 3000 schedules with changes.

July 2004

Directories: Discussion on District needing more directories. Was brought up if Open Range Treatment Center should be on directories. GSR’s are to bring back to home groups. Also to talk to the Treatment Center first. District PI/CPC chair informs District there are only 260 left. Motion was made to have 1000 made up for the time being. Motion seconded. 3 opposed. Motion passed.

August 2004

Only registered Meetings on Directories. As in the Action Booklet. Motion made. Motion seconded.

March 2005

PI/CPC District chair asks District for money to purchase 1000 directories of around $55. Motion was made. Motion seconded. Motion carried.

April 2005

PI/CPC Chair asks District for approval on getting 3000 directories instead of 1000. Being there are 4 changes needed to update them at a cost around $159.75. Motion made. Motion seconded. Motion carried.

August 2005

PI/CPC chair asks District for $53.25 to get 1000 directories. Motion made. Motion seconded. Motion carried.

February 2006

Motion passed to print 1000 updated meeting schedules.

April 2006

Motion passed to print 3000 schedules with addresses for a cost of $160.00.

April 2006

Motion defeated to include definitions of open and closed meetings on schedule.

January 2007

Motion passed to print 3000 schedules with changes and corrections.

Motion passed to pay $26.50 for last printing of meeting schedules.

Motion passed to order the new schedules at $185.00 for 3000 from Cook News Herald and to include Int’l Falls, Littlefork and not to include Babbitt, and to have a new color.

Motion passed to authorize PI/CPC Committee Chair to order 3000 District 8 schedules for a cost not to exceed $200.00.

October 2011

Motion passed for all groups to return excess schedules to the November District 8 meeting.

December 2011

Motion passed to order 4000 meeting schedules at an approximate cost of $ 235.00.

May 2013

Motion was made by that we print 3000 updated meeting schedules.

January 2014

Motion passed to print 1,500 meeting schedules, PI/CPC Chair decides color.

September 2014

Motion passed to print 1,500 meeting schedules. All updates have been made.

October 2014

Motion passed to continue using the circle & triangle on the meeting schedules.

August 2015

Motion passed to print 3,000 meeting cards, 1,500 is not meeting our needs.

January 2017

Motion passed to print 3,000 meeting schedules at $210 with any copy changes to be emailed back immediately.

December 2017

Motion passed to provide $350 to print 3,000 meeting schedules with unused monies to be returned to the district.

July 2018

Motion for $350 to print 3,000 schedules, with extra money to be returned to the district

August 2018

Meeting Schedule Changes: motion to approve changes and to include Beginner’s Meeting on new schedule.
