Position Description:¶
• Keep records (Minutes) of all District meetings
Responsibilities:¶
• Read the A.A. Service Manual.
• Provide Minutes via email to all GSRs, Committee Chairs and Officers, and to any member who requests a copy. Provide printed copies to any member who requests one and have copies at all District meetings.
• Give reports of activities and all meetings attended.
• Provided updated Contact Lists to all members of the District Committees via email.
• Have Group Information Change Forms available at all District meetings.
• Remind groups to provide any changes to group information, including changes to con-tacts, group names, meeting locations, and times and days of the week.
• Work with Area 35 Group Records. Chair to keep group information up to date – grouprecords@area35.org
• Assist DCM. By making forms, etc., as requested.
• Update Past Action Booklet at the end of the rotation, email a copy to the Area 35 Ar-chivist, and have as many copies made and bound as the District approves.
• Submit receipts to the Treasurer in a timely manner.
• Send copies of approved Minutes to: secretary@area35.org
• archives@area35.org areachair@area35.org delegate@area35.org
• Assist the incoming Secretary with experience, records, information, and suggestions, especially on how to most efficiently update the Past Action Booklet.
• Don’t be afraid to ask for assistance.
